**NEW Paramedic Apprenticeship

***The application window for recruiting to both Cohort One and Cohort Two of the apprenticeship programme is now closed***.

Cohort One of the Paramedic Apprenticeship will be delivered from our North Education Centre in Bristol, commencing in September 2020 with a bridging module, and the full Apprenticeship commencing in February 2021.

Course places will be available as follows:
10 places – BNSSG, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire
5 places – Dorset and Somerset
5 places – Devon and Cornwall

Cohort Two of the Paramedic Apprenticeship will be delivered from our St Leonards Training College in Dorset, commencing in October 2020 with a bridging module, and the full Apprenticeship commencing in April 2021.

Course places will be available as follows:
10 places – Dorset and Somerset
5 places – BNSSG, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire
5 places – Devon and Cornwall

Essential criteria:

– A minimum of two years’ experience as an ECA, Ambulance Practitioner or Technician as at 07 September 2020 (Cohort One) or 05 October 2020 (Cohort Two)

– GCSE Grade A-C in Maths and English, or the equivalent Functional Skills certificate. You will need to be able to evidence your qualifications by 25 January 2021 (Cohort One) or 29 March 2021 (Cohort Two)

– A minimum contract of 30 hours per week
