We remain committed to supporting our staff throughout their employment and with whatever challenges may present themselves from both inside and outside of work. These pages provide information and links to the services we offer such as our Staying Well Service who act as the first port of call for staff requiring some additional support and who help to signpost our staff to the many specialist services we interact with to ensure they get appropriate help, whatever the nature of the concern.
Wherever you are in your career journey there can be times when you might need some additional support or might need to support a colleague in difficulty. You can also find out more about personal resilience and emotional intelligence, both of which are key to developing successful managerial and leadership careers.
You can access a number of support services through the Trust should you require these at any time:
Staying Well Service
The Staying Well Service provides immediate access to sources of support in just one phone call or email. The team will triage calls and provide direct support and/or signposting to the most appropriate services for additional help and assistance.

Peer Support Network
The Peer Support Network is a group of staff from within SWASFT who are trained in supporting people with mental health concerns. These staff may be a first point of contact for any member of staff who may wish to discuss a wellbeing concern and are able to listen and offer support within a confidential setting.
We are currently recruiting further Peer Supporters but you can read the biographies of our current network here.
You can also gain a wide range of support through Unison, the Trust’s recognised trade union.
