Managing your opportunities


Bi-annually all those colleagues that are in the Talent Pool are reviewed to determine development opportunities and to help guide training needs. This is done through meetings with your Heads of Operations/Heads of Department and your local HR Business Partner or alternatively if you are in a band 8+ position, this will be undertaken through consultation with the Executive Team.  It is also your responsibility to seek out opportunties – the People Analytics & Development Team are always on standby to guide and advise –

Once you have been recommended and signed off for entry into the Talent Pool you will receive an email confirming as such from the People Analytics & Development Team.  You will then remain in the Talent Pool for one year from this date.  Upon the anniversary of entry you will automatically be removed from the Talent Pool unless a further Career Conversation has taken place resulting in further recommendation that you are re-entered into the Talent Pool.

It is your responsibility to keep a note of the date of entry as you will not be notified when your expiry date has past.
